Bronson | Howdy Folks, I just bought a Dynamark 16/42 lawn tractor that needs a lot of work to put in operation. Thanks for any helpBronson |
DB | Your model # for the engine won't be on the flywheel cover when its a twin cylinder, instead look on the cylinder shield covering Cyl. #2 or the left cylinder when sitting in the seat. It will be stamped just above the sparkplug. It will start with either 40 or 42 and should end in 7 followed by the type # and then Code #, The code will tell you the year/mth/day/assembly line/shift in that order. The Model # for the chassis should be at the rear of unit between back tires or under the seat, or might even be on the steering riser or console on the left or right just below the hood when it is closed. Good Luck finding a manual, most of the parts will have to be matched with new ones. You can still find belts/blades in most interchange books, electrical parts will work from most any other brand, repair information might be found in your local library printed in small engine manuals of various sources like intertec, haynes, clymer, etc. : Howdy Folks, I just bought a Dynamark 16/42 lawn tractor that needs a lot of work to put in operation.
